Survey Says...
The #1 Answer in Week 12...

Week 12 ended with a Family Fued of sorts as the week came down to MNF points between cousins Chad Pitts and Mark McClure. Only 9 points seperated their numeric choices, and thanks to many turnovers and a couple of dropped balls by Amani Toomer, Mark McClure escaped with the victory. This weeks performance also enabled Mark t0 increase his overall lead to two picks. Last week MFP saw a record number of picks in the double digits. Week 12 would be no slouch as ALL but one (see standings) of our players reached that achievement last week. Don't forget to get your picks in by early Thursday and have a Happy Turkey / Football day.

Once A Year!
14 is Jayson Schoffler's "FAVREite" number this week!

In week 11, the 49ers scored 14 points in 14 seconds securing their win, and Jayson Schoffler's, by raising his win total to 14 for the week. In doing so, Jayson marks the third straight year winning one week, and nothing more. MFP officials realize that there are still 6 weeks left, but we are also realists. Jayson edged out tight competition this week which saw an MFP record 20 players in double digits. This week also saw another move in the see-saw battle for first place overall, as Mark McClure goes one up on John Wyeth. Things are getting tight, and it is still (almost) anyones game.

Flashes of Red!
Jim Demeniuk is shutdown by Brendan "Big Red" Riley

It's all so fitting. This week the Eagles grabbed their chance to shine in the national spotlight. A much less known Philadelphia product, Brendan Riley also rose to the occasion this week, aided by the win of his hometown team. For the first time since last season we saw flashes of the man who dominated MFP just one year ago. In doing so, he edged out Jim "Freak" Demeniuk who has lost due to MNF points for two straight weeks. Good luck to all of you in week 11!

A Scary Week!
Munster Makes A "Spooktacular" Effort In Week 9

How scary was week 9? How fitting would it have been for Herman Munster to win on Halloween weekend? Munster was poised to take the cash with 45 seconds left in the MNF game. Now that's scary! Not to mention that the weekly winner posted a dismal 8 correct picks, the first time this year the winner hasn't posted a double digit win total. That's not to take away from Sean Carleton's performance, which as unnactractive as it was, was better than everyone elses. And that my friends, makes him $25 richer, brings him 2 picks closer to the overall lead, and makes him just the second player this year to surpass his entry fee in winnings. Here's to week 10, may we ALL pick better!
