Munster Mash?
Will Halloween weekend mean cash for Munster yet again?

Ahh, Halloween weekend. Historically, ironically, a weekend where Uncle Herman Munster dominates the MFP. No one can explain why. It makes no sense really, even after countless hours of research, why a guy who makes horrible picks for most of the year seems to "turn it on" every time Halloween rolls around. Maybe this year will bring an end to this "SPOOKY" tradition. It's just another thing to keep an eye on as you enjoy your football and candy this weekend!

Perfection!
Now in theatres, Jeff Jacobs is a "Perfect 14!"

Jeff Jacobs takes the cash in week 7 in record setting fashion. There have been four players who have made 15 correct picks in a week, but no one, until now, has had a perfect week. MFP officials take their hats off to you Jeff, good job! You have etched your name in MFP history. In other news, Shane Gransden hangs on to the overall lead, while John Wyeth sneaks into the #2 spot he knows all to well. On the other end of the spectrum, Anthony Cambisi still finds himself in the MFP basement after actually making his picks this week. He could have done worse though, just ask Dan Collison.

He's Back!
Rob Restauri celebrates a week 6 win with his pals.

It didn't take long for last years "King of the Hill" Rob Restauri to get back in the winners circle. With a third of the season down, he finds himself only one point off the overall lead, and $25 richer. Shane Gransden and the elder Demeniuk are still at the head of the class, but the gap has all but closed. It is still anyone's game to win, well almost. In a related story, when MFP officials contacted Anthony Cambisi Saturday evening, he claimed that he had spent the last two weekends on a "Budweiser Vacation." Guess he made that three in a row... oh well, we tried.

King Solomon!
Peyton Manning congratulates Solomon on his week 5 victory!

Dave Solomon was king of the MFP in week 5 with 11 correct picks. All MFP sources know about Dave is that 1. He is now an official MFP weekly champion and 2. He loves the Cocks... the Game Cocks that is! With that being said, we'll move on. Jim Demeniuk still holds the overall lead but Mr. Gransden was able to close the gap to 1 with another outstanding week. The best week has to go to Mark McClure however, who despite a dismal pick performance in week 5, welcomed a baby boy! At 12:26am Sunday morning Austin Marcus McClure entered the world and was welcomed with an unexpected Lions victory. Cambisi has now missed two straight weeks yet still has more than 4 other players. MFP officials have confirmed that that is just, well, sad.

Game On!
Shane and the gang are ready to play!

The Packers tried to make a late night comeback on Monday, but it wouldn't matter. Shane Gransden had week 4 in the MFP wrapped up by Sunday night. Shane stepped to the table last week with some pretty harsh talk for the "guards" in the group, and he backed it up. We may never be able to find out who would win in an MFP "Longest Yard" game, but here in the pool, the guards aren't faring so well. Three of the first four weeks went to "non-guards" as well as the overall lead, which was extended this week by Jim Demeniuk. In other news, after making his picks for THREE STRAIGHT WEEKS, Cambisi finally pulled a "Cambisi."
