Expert Picks!
Mark joins the expert cast of Inside the NFL

Week three winds down with our second tie breaker of the season. Mark McClure just edged out Jim Demeniuk to take the week 3 cash. Upon confirmation of the victory, Mark received a call from the guys at HBO's Inside the NFL. It seems as if the experts have been watching the MFP closely, and have brought Mr. McClure on to replace Bob Costas. This weeks fine performance by runner up Demeniuk comes one day shy of his 34th birthday. He wont get the cash this week, but he will spend his birthday on top of the overall leaderboard!

Hail to the Chief!
Scott was the Chief in week 2

Some things are over BEFORE the fat lady sings. The Bears vs. Lions, the Bengals vs. Vikings and of course, Scott McClure vs. the MFP competition in week 2. Despite a horrible, embarrassing, dismal outing at a bowling tournament Sunday morning, Scott had no problem striking down the MFP competition. He would spare no one, and this week would not be a split decision requiring a MNF tie breaker. (All puns intended.) Thanks to the Chiefs defeating the Raiders on Sunday night, Scott holds the week 2 cash despite there being an unprecedented two games left to play on Monday. This is Scott's first weekly win since week 1 last year. In other news, D Long now has company in the MFP basement. D Long, meet the Riley brothers.

The Week 1 Skinny!
Somebody please give Chad a burger!

After a great year in 2004 including a second place overall finish, Chad Pitts had money to spare. Unfortunately, he turned to steroids. Chad had never looked better. But in the offseason, the money ran out and Chad was hungry. That hunger showed in week one as he ousted the competition and edged out Rookie Joe Giess in the tie breaker. MFP officials wish you well Chad, go buy a cheeseburger!

The Man!
Rob Restauri receives his 2005 MFP Trophy

It has been said "To BE the man, you have to BEAT the man." Though the ladies may disagree, when it comes to Mark's Football Pool, Rob Restauri IS the man! With a 3rd place finish in 2002, fourth in 2003 and a Championship in 2004, Restauri is clearly the man to beat. He remains the only man in MFP history to cash in 3 straight years! With more players than ever in this 2005 season, the competition will be stronger than ever, but if history is any indication, Rob Restauri will be in the hunt come December!
